1. To make an account, go to skillblox.org. Then, click the Sign Up! button on the top right corner of your screen.Â
2. Next, you will be given two options for creating an account. Let’s walk through both.Â
Option 1: Enter Your Information
Enter your information on the left side of the screen. Â
If you create your account this way, write down your username and password so you don’t forget them.Â
When you're done, click Sign Up! DO NOT close your browser yet! You need to check your email for a code.Â
Open your email inbox and find the email from SkillBlox. Copy the six-digit code from your email.Â
Go back to SkillBlox, paste the code in the Verification box, and click the Verify Account button.
Option 2: Use Your Google Account
If you have a Google account, you can use it to make a SkillBlox account. With this option, you don’t have to remember a new user name or password.Â
To sign up with Google, enter your Google login information, then confirm that you are OK with Google sharing your basic information with SkillBlox.Â
Once you click OK, you can log in to SkillBlox! From now on, you only need your Google login information to sign into SkillBlox.
3. Select Your Account Type
When you sign into SkillBlox with your new account for the first time, you need to select if you are an instructor user or a student user. This choice cannot be undone, so please be careful to select the correct option.Â
4. After selecting your user type, you’re done! You will see a confirmation screen with your SkillBlox username.Â
If you entered your information to make an account, you will see the username you created. If you made your account with Google, a username will be assigned to you. If you want to change your username, you can update it in your account settings.
